My wife just got a 3 1/2 month old daschund(spelling) puppy today and it barks and whines so much of the time and pees on the carpet. He is really a nice puppy as far as friendly and loving but doesn't seem to want to hold it like he should. How long does it take to train him to go outside and not inside?

A dog does not have control over its elimination until at least 6 months.
Your best bet is to crate train this puppy or baby gate it into a room with no carpet.
Take the pooch out right after he eats, and he needs to be fed at least twice a day. Take pup out in a.m., before bed, and every 2 hours if possible - meanwhile, don't let him roam free to piddle in the house - confine with baby gate or crate him.
Walk the pup to the same areas, praise him long and loud when he gets it right. Never yell, hit, or push face in waste - remember, this is an infant, and you would not expect a human infant to be potty trained this young - have patience.
You have to neutralize the odor anywhere he has already piddled on the rug - or anywhere else. Neutralize, not just deodorize, you buy pet urine neutralizer in pet stores or supermarkets - neutralize the area he has peed on or he will smell it and go there again.
There is a great book "Dachshunds for Dummies", stupid title, but very informative and fun to read - tells you all about dachshunds, care and training, plus the background of the breed.
Please be patient, don't expect immediate potty training from a young pup like this - don't scare or worry him so that he become the confident, self assured dog he should be.
Dachshunds need to be trained with patience, firmly, but not harshly and potty training at this age is hit or miss - you basically need to keep him where he can't do damage while taking him out a lot to show him what you want him to do - and where.
Good luck - but please don't think that he can "hold it like he should" - he can't at this age, any more than a small baby could, because that's what he is now.

Is critter care natural good for baby bunny?

He's 3 1/2 month lionhead is critter care concidered one of the good beddings to use and do I put it in his whole cage or just the litter box... I read they can't have ceder bedding or anything. But if this is bad what is a good one I should buy thank you!

Cedar bedding is actually NOT good for most small animals. The aromatic oils can cause respiratory infections. Imagine breathing in really strong perfume for a very long time....I know that at times the perfume actually starts to burn my nostrils...so think of what it may do to a rabbit that has to live on "perfumey" bedding.
As long as the Critter Care is the paper based one that I remember seeing, then it's good to use. Carefresh Ultra is my personal preference for my rabbit, though. It actually does control odor more than the regular Carefresh. You can also use Aspen, since it doesn't have aromatic oils like cedar or pine, but it's not as absorbant.
