Q. I bought a baby conifer tree from Lidl it was covered in fake snow, and I kept on watering it. It seems to be going a bit dead, like the snow's dropping off and the branches are going a weird shape. I repotted it in ash some soil, and I've now started feeding it tea. Is there any where is saving it?

I'm answering blind because I don't know where you live or what the tree looks like. Since you mention re potting I'm going to guess it's an inside plant. If this is supposed to be a pre bonsai of some sort I can guarantee it hasn't been treated well since you mentioned fake snow. If you're trying to keep it alive, if it still is and if you have any other plants I highly suggest a moisture meter. You can't guess if it needs water and over watering will kill it. Keep the soil moist, not water logged. A plant mister would also help. Proper lighting is also very important.
Remove any garbage around and on the tree, stones, fake snow etc. The plant has to breath and correct evaporation is essential. Use normal soil for now, ash does not retain moisture. Distilled or boiled water is suggested. Fertilizer will be used later.
Unfortunately most of these plants do not come with a care sheet. They do look cute but require special care. Unless they receive this special care they're life span will only be a few weeks.

How do I take care of a turtle?

My friend has asked me to baby-sit her turtles and I'm kind of scared of them. I didn't know that they had claws and they're kind of freaking me out. If you can give me any tips on how to clean, hold, or play with them it would be greatly appreciated.

Well, are they turtles or torti? If they're aquatic (live in water) then they're turtles and you don't need to do a thing other than feed them once every other day. Your friend really should've left you care instructions... Like what to feed them, when to feed them, etc. If she did then just follow her instructions to the letter and don't try anything else. If she didn't... Then shame on her. Feed them once every other day, if there's a filter, don't worry about the water and even if there isn't... If she isn't going to be gone for more than a week, then I wouldn't attempt cleaning the water. You can do a lot more damage than good if you attempt to clean the water and don't do it properly. If your friend is going to be gone longer than week then you need to call her and get EXACT instructions on how she cleans the tank, what she uses, how much water should be changed, etc. Then, follow those instructions to the letter. Aside from that... I wouldn't do anything else. Don't touch them, don't try to pick them up... Just feed them. Oh and she should've left you with a can/canister or pellets... Just sprinkle about handful's worth of food in there once EVERY OTHER DAY. Don't overfeed... That can cause a lot of issues. If they're tortoises, as in land dwelling, then just chop up some veggies for them like carrots and lettuce, avoiding things acidic like tomatos and anything stringy like celery... Fresh greens (different types of lettuce and spinach) and carrots should be sufficient. Be sure they have water in their water dish and just leave them alone... Don't pick them up, don't try to pet them... Just feed and water them. Anyway... I hope this helps and your friend really should have left instructions for you.
