I'm kind of clueless when it comes to baby stuff. I'm wondering when I should plan a baby shower and what I should register for versus buy myself later on. I was told diapers are my main priority for the most part to buy, and the baby shower and family will provide me with other necessities. Also, I don't know what activities are involved in a baby shower.

Wow, whoever said it was wrong, so the person basically said to you to expect everyone to give everything while you just grab gifts!? It's the opposite: you buy the big stuff (crib, matress, changing table, stroller, car seat, chair, dresser...), and ask the guests only the basic needs mainly related to baby layette and baby care products, ie, you should register for diapers in various sizes, bottles, burp clothes, receiving blanket, hooded towels, quilt, crib sheets, mosquito net,anti-suffocation pillow, baby shampoo, diaper rash ointment, hypoallergenic soaps, nail clipper, brush and comb set, some rattle or teether and clothes also in various sizes (0 - 3 months, 3 - 6 months, 6 - 9 months, 9 - 12 months and 12 - 18 months). Smaller items are actually way more useful than larger items so it's good having a "stock" of them.
Games in baby showers are the most annoying thing in the world! I'd rather just sit and have a casual conversation about motherhood, ask other mothers who are in the baby shower about funny moments that happened during birth or something like. But you can pass a blank book so each guest can write messages and wishes for you and the baby, or give each guest a card to them write their messages and then put into a pretty box. This can become a good memento. But if you want games, there are a lot of them, just search and you will find something that pleases you.

How do I get my new puppy and my 3 kitty cats to get along?

My cat Abigail is almost a year old, and the other two cats are close to 3 months...Abigail has been around one other dog, but she didn't like him either, they finally just got used to each other and left eachother alone, but this little puppy wants to play with the kitty cats and they're not going for it. I think they're scared of her cause she's got so much energy and runs right up to them trying to play. How do I get her to stop doin this to my cats so that they'll all calm down, without the puppy getting hurt?

You can't change the nature of the beast. Just remember that if the cat has enough, it WILL vacate the area....OR let the dog know it's had enough of the shenanigans.
Just let them go. The worst that will happen is a few minor scratches on the snout of the dog....if you continue to play referee, the dog will think it's a game and make matters worse.
I would be more worried for the babies however, since the dog seems to be THAT rambunctious, you may need to be ready with a fly swatter and a loud voice. Every time the dog starts to get crazy with the kittens, smack the swatter down HARD on a flat surface and yell "NO!!!" at the dog. It'll get the message that it needs to play nice with the kittens, and in a couple of months those will be able to care for themselves as well.
