Hi there, i purchased a cheap electric breast pump off ebay brand new, but once i received it, it was in chinese writing and had no manual. I thought to give it a go because i presume they are pretty self explanatory. I tried it out and connected the tube to the motor part and then to the bottle part and then turned it up to its highest setting of suction. I did get some suction but not alot, i'm not sure how powerful the suction should be, but it didn't seem very strong at all. Is it not meant to be powerful at all or would you suggest i send it back?

then if u seem to be not satisfied better yet send it back to them, and because u bought it online check also their terms and conditions, will they replace it or return it and will they give your money back for a refund, maye because u said it is cheap that is why u didn't get satisfied with it. even though there are some products that is cheap but works effectively...like when i bought a Pigeon manual breast pump, i just find it hurting my breast when im using the breast Pump, i bought another plastic with rubberized hand pump 10x cheaper than the pigeon brand,maybe u will get something cheap also that would satisfy u

questions about breast pumps?
Q. im about to be a first time mommy, and i dont plan on breastfeeding. DONT GET INTO A DEBAT WITH ME i dont want to hear it, its my choice. the way i understand it is, you have to pump your milk. i have no idea about this and was wondering, how often do you have to pump? what do you do with the milk afterwards? should i choose an electric or battery operated pump? im not sure if this makes a difference or not, but i have smaller breasts than most women probably do, im more between an A and a B... can anyone help?
im not pumping to feed it the milk. im using formula.
i wana know like a suggestion of a pump to buy, from someone whos used it.. i know the information about breast pumping thanks, i just dont know which ones are good to get.

well. when i had my first at 18 i was young and unsure and had no suppoprt at all i tried to breastfeed but didnt last long, he is now 5 and i have a 7 month old daughter and i have breastfed her exclusively, and im very pleased and i wish i could go back and feed my son i wish i had persisted and seeked help when needed, yes there were a cupple of times that were hard but once we got to the 3 month mark it was great, the closeness and bond with baby is so much stronger. i have a pigeon manual pump, i have tried 4 pumps electric and manual and this is the best, its easy to get the hang of, you really only need to express if your away from baby, want to have some in stogare or your sore. nothing can stimulate milk production like a baby they are the best expressers, breastfeeding is so convienient as i bottle fed my son and i am now BF i can see the difference, o how dramatic it was trying to get a bottle warmed or ready in the middle of the night, the boob is there when needed, just get it out thats it, im not trying to talk you in to it just letting you know my experience. reguardless of it being best for baby i found weight loss very easy with BF and it just makes life that easy, it is not always easy but you sure do feel great once you have achieved it.
